David A. Kovass Attorney David A. Kovass was born in Youngstown, Ohio and raised in nearby Boardman, graduating from Boardman High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from the John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio, with a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics, and then obtained his Juris Doctor from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in all courts in the State of Ohio, and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio.  After becoming licensed to practice law in 2002, David began his legal career as an associate attorney at the law firm of Rademaker, Matty, McClelland & Greve in Cleveland, Ohio where he gained tremendous experience as a litigator.  In 2006, he joined Friedman & Rummell Co., L.P.A. and currently focuses his practice in business litigation, worker’s compensation law, real estate, banking, corporate, closely held businesses, and general practice law. He also advises business clients in the formation of business entities, buying and selling businesses, and in real estate developments.  David is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, and Mahoning County Bar Association. Additionally, he is a member of the John Carroll University and Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Alumni Associations. As a seminar presenter, he has twice spoken on the topic of Workers’ Compensation Defense for the Cleveland Bar Association as well as presented seminars to client organizations.
