Shannon E. Greene-Day graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from The Ohio State University in 2009. Before attending law school, Shannon worked in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and also helped grand open two high-end health clubs in Beachwood, Ohio and Reston, Virginia, respectively. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law in 2016, where she specialized in Tax Law. Before joining Friedman & Rummell, Shannon worked at a Big Four accounting firm in Cleveland, Ohio and was primarily responsible for preparing taxes for individuals and private companies.
While at Akron Law, Shannon was a member and Vice President of the Jewish Law Students Association where she was responsible for raising Jewish awareness in the law school and surrounding legal community. She also served as Student Senator for the Student Bar Association during her first year. During her second and third years of law school, Shannon worked as a Legal Research Assistant for a Law Professor, Graduate Assistant for a Business Professor, and as the Departmental Finance Tutor for the U of A College of Business.
Attorney Greene-Day is licensed to practice law in all courts in the State of Ohio. She is a member in good standing of the Ohio Bar Association and Mahoning County Bar Association. Her areas of specialty are Bankruptcy, Civil Litigation, Estate Planning, Real Estate Law, and Tax Law.
In her spare time, Shannon enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her husband, Kevin.
