W. Terry Patrick
Mr. Patrick was born in Youngstown, Ohio October 3, 1949, and is a graduate of The Rayen School in Youngstown. He attended the University of Michigan, and earned his undergraduate degree from Youngstown State University with degrees in Philosophy and German in 1972, and then obtained his Juris Doctor from the Akron University Law School in 1977. Terry also received the American Jurisprudence Award in Creditor’s Rights in 1977. Mr. Patrick joined Friedman & Rummell Co., L.P.A. in September of 1978. He became a partner with the firm in 1981, and served as its Managing Partner for 15 years. He is currently a senior partner with the firm. His areas of practice include corporate, real estate, estate planning, commercial, and banking law. He is licensed to practice law in all courts in the State of Ohio, the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to the Mahoning County Bar Association, his professional affiliations include the Ohio State Bar Association and the National Order of Barristers. He currently serves on the Advisory Board, Member Emeritus, Salvation Army, of which he is a former chairman, and the Board of Trustees for Hope for Youngstown, Inc. He is a retired chairman of the Board of Directors for First Place Financial Corporation, and First Place Bank. Some of his other former boards include: Board of Directors, Youngstown Rotary Club; Board of Trustees, Ballet Western Reserve; Board of Trustees, Youngstown Symphony Society; Committee Chairman, Troop 60 BSA, Westminster Presbyterian Church; Board of Trustees, Mahoning County Bar Association; and the Board of Trustees, Youngstown Club. Terry and his wife, Irena, reside in Vero Beach, FL. They have three children, Justin K. Patrick, Julianna C. Maria, and James T. Patrick, as well as five grandchildren.
