Tracie L. Schmidt
Tracie (Logar) Schmidt is a graduate of McDonald High School, in McDonald, Ohio. She graduated from Kent State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management. She then went on to obtain her juris doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law.
While attending the University of Toledo, Ms. Schmidt served as Secretary of the Student Bar Association for two years and was also an active member of the Women’s Law Student Association for three years. Her studies focused primarily on probate, estate planning, and labor & employment law. She also gained experience in mediation as part of her participation in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Clinic.
Ms. Schmidt served as a law clerk for Friedman & Rummell Co., L.P.A. after her second year of law school, and after becoming licensed to practice in Ohio, she then joined the firm as an associate in 2007. She practices primarily in the areas of Probate, Estate Planning, Business, and General Civil Litigation.
She and her husband, Chris, reside in Mineral Ridge, Ohio.
